Diane Robert is reading for an MPhil in International Relations at Oxford University. Her research focuses on Human Rights, Conflict Resolution, and Transitional justice.

She has worked with several NGOs to protect the rights of indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon and help the integration of Venezuelan refugees in Ecuador. As a freelancer, she explores medium hybridity and the interaction between art and information. She has covered the student protest in Hong Kong for the McGill International Review as a photojournalist. She has also created a podcast analyzing popular music in its sociopolitical context and worked with a visual artist in South Korea.

Always keen on new challenges, she cycled on her own for 5000km across Europe to raise funds for women’s education in Cambodia. When she is not in Oxford, Diane is hiking or running toward new adventures.
